SRS - Passing on the Legacy

 

​SRS enters another phase.  As the original founders and mentors move into their latter years, we are determined to pass on to the next generation the lessons learned in forming and growing this organization.

We want those who have benefited from our efforts to continue to share what they have learned with their peers and, the next generation of leaders.  As such, we have added a new, young, dynamic board member - Calvin "G" Yarbrough (see him on a short interview below).

Also, beginning in 2026, in addition to our youth and young adult mentoring program, we will be focusing on advising and training young men and women in entrepreneurship, business finance and investments.  The founders and original SRS mentors are available and willing to use our extensive knowledge and experience to assist any persons who are looking to start or grow a successful business.

  

Lastly, SRS has gone international.  Beginning in 2023, we began partnering with a ministry in the beautiful African nation of Zimbabwe.  We support their youth and young adults, and visit and speak at their annual conferences.  Additionally, we are working to encourage and guide them in establishing small businesses as a way to support their families.  (See highlight video below of one or our recent visits.)
